In an effort to end our Mayor Frank Scott, Jr.’s Little Rock Education Initiative month, we raised awareness to underprivileged and at-risk youth who will benefit from our alternate learning programs and future art centers. The night was full of amazing speakers, Entertainers, Artists, City of Little Rock Officials, Religious Leaders & Community Pillars from all across the state. We received Artwork from artists of all age groups around the city of Little Rock and raised enough money to give away a scholarship to our winner. Though we did not reach our building fund goal of 100k we are thrilled and excited about our future fundraising events this being the first one ever, I think we did okay.! Thank you

On November 12th, 2021, The HTYC
implemented it’s first pilot program at
PIneBluff LightHouse Charter Academy School.
Data was collected from a group of 21 innercity male youths. Participants were placed in
groups by media subject interest and asked to
create and demonstrate a short film. Children
were given roles of writers, actors, directors,
and cameramen and required to work together
for the purpose of production of a final project.
This Activity Program was
designed and introduced to
Lighthouse through a
partnership with Bronson's
Ambitions and Unprocessed
Media.
